Registry Programs and Returns Information

We offer convenient registry options, tailored to your preferences.

There are important differences and advantages in the programs, including the Return policy, which can be found below.

TRADITIONAL REGISTRY

Gifts are sent to registered couple as they are purchased by family and friends. For selections that are not in stock, and need to be ordered, a gift card is sent announcing the name of the purchaser and the item(s) selected. These gifts are sent to you upon their receipt at Gump's. Please see Return Policy for Traditional Registry below.

GIFT NOTIFICATION PROGRAM REGISTRY

Gifts selected for you by your family and friends are recorded in a personal gift account, with purchaser and selections noted, but no actual physical merchandise held. This account is known as your Gift Notification Program. The gift purchasers will be informed that you have selected the Gift Notification Program, and that you have requested delivery at a later specified time. A gift card will be sent to you with the purchaser's name and the gift selection, allowing you to acknowledge their gift.

During the course of your registry, and up to 90 days after your event, you have the opportunity to review the selections in your account with our registry consultants, know the exact financial balance of your Gift Notification Account, and modify your registry in any way; change patterns, quantities, items, etc.

The Within 90 days after your event, your completion appointment will be scheduled with our registry consultants and your final selections will be made. Delivery arrangements will be made for all items in stock, and special orders placed for all others. The full financial balance of your Gift Notification Account must be redeemed at this time, as the final selection process closes your account (but not your registry). Registry items, including those selected by your purchasers through the Gift Notification Program, are subject to price-change and availability. The Gift Account is for merchandise only and cannot be converted to cash.

The Gift Notification Program allows you maximum flexibility in your registry and gift selections until your completion appointment, at which time all selections are considered Final Sale. Gifts purchased for you after your completion appointment will be handled as Traditional Registry transactions.

RETURN POLICY / TRADITIONAL REGISTRY

CHINA:
Any item outside of the basic five piece set (dinner, salad, B&B, teacup, saucer) is considered Special Order and may not be returned or exchanged; i.e. serving pieces
SILVER:
Sterling flatware is not returnable. Any silver-plate and stainless steel flatware outside of the basic five piece set (dinner fork, dinner knife, teaspoon, salad fork, place spoon) is considered Special Order and may not be returned or exchanged; (i.e. spreaders, serving pieces).
OTHER:
One of a kind pieces, and any items not normally stocked in the store may not be returned or exchanged.

Within 90 days of purchase, returnable gifts may be exchanged for other merchandise or store credit only.

RETURN POLICY/ GIFT NOTIFICATION PROGRAM

This flexible program allows the registered couple to make any changes in their gift selections up until their completion appointment, at which time all selections are considered Final Sale, with no further exchanges or returns.

REGISTRY GUIDELINES

All gift purchases require a 100% payment/deposit at the time of selection.
